The Full Story
Origin
My name is Angela, and in 2021 my world was shaken. I lost my father, followed closely by two people I loved dearly—all to cancer. Each loss left a deep ache in my heart, but in the midst of that pain, God lit a fire within me. I witnessed firsthand how isolating illness can be—not only for the one fighting, but also for their loved ones who often don’t know how to help. Too many suffer in silence, unseen and unsupported.
This is why I created The Lighthouse Project. A lighthouse is a beacon—it doesn’t remove the storm, but it offers light, direction, and safety when everything feels dark and overwhelming. We want to be that beacon for those navigating illness at any stage—whether fighting, surviving, or learning to live with chronic conditions.
By capturing and sharing stories of courage, faith, pain, and resilience, we believe God’s light can pierce even the darkest waters. And when stories are shared, communities rise up to surround, encourage, and carry each other.

Mission
The Lighthouse Project exists to reflect the heart of Jesus—who sees, cares for, and draws near to the suffering and the forgotten. We believe every story carries worth, and no voice should be silenced by illness or fear. What the enemy intends for harm, God will use for good. As the hands and feet of Christ, we create spaces of light where stories bring healing that goes beyond the physical—healing that touches the heart, renews the mind, and transcends even death itself. This healing is not only for those who share their story, but for every listener who receives it. We remind each person that they are more than a diagnosis, and that in God’s hands, even the darkest seasons can shine with hope.
Vision
The Lighthouse Project is not just about interviews. It’s about creating a movement of compassion, prayer, and action. Whether you are battling, surviving, or supporting someone you love, your story—and your light—matters.
Together, we can build a world where no one facing illness feels unseen. There is healing through hope.
